Bio
Tim, an exceptionally talented guitarist, originated something new when he started mixing his stunning guitar skills with a DJ set.
His popular live performances are described simply as: “Live guitar mixed with an uplifting DJ set of dance pop anthems.”
Tim plays alongside current Dance, Pop, Classic 70’s 80’s 90’s Pop & Rock, Indie Anthems and 00’s Trance hits; adding Top Gun style 80's Rock meets Carlos Santana inspired Spanish guitar to the mix.
His mashups capture the imagination, keeping an audience engaged and filling the dance floor. As an accomplished artist in his own right Tim occasionally adds a few original tunes to this heady mix adding a higher personal value to an event.
Tim plays 100 plus gigs a year in night clubs, lifestyle bars, restaurants and at private events.
Since graduating from the prestigious London Guitar Institute (now known as ICMP), Tim’s career first took off with the release of his fusion-rock debut titled 'Bald On The Inside', described as - "Impressive, world-class stuff" Guitarist (magazine)
This opened the door to working in collaboration with the legendary Radio 1 DJ, Judge Jules. They produced the track 'Puesta Del Sol' and ‘City Rockers’ (remixed from the melody of ‘Ibiza’s Secret Garden). Blending Tim's Spanish Marcus Twiddle guitar with Jules' signature Trance and Techno beats.
Brandishing his signature sparkly-pink laser guitar, Tim was flown out to Ibiza to play live on the Radio 1 weekend. His funky rock guitar style making a welcome addition to Jules' Balearic beats. Inspired by the Ibiza experience, Tim experimented merging multiple styles which he dubbed “Guitar Mashing”.

This Manchester born musician has early memories of composing music. His solo discography now boasts 10 albums and 35 singles.
As a fanatical electric guitar player, Tim fuses his passion for eclectic instrumental virtuosity into a tropical adventure with commercial House, Drum and Bass, Trance, and Dubstep.
His big vision to break the genre boundaries, free to start a guitar groove experiment.
Initially influenced by Joe Satriani, Gary Moore, Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck as his childhood guitar heroes, using this inspiration, he dedicated his time to searching for a fresh sound. More lately influenced by Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Timmy Trumpet, CamelPhat and Fisher.
Tim puts his unusual creativity down to the way he learns best, by jamming over the records he loves.

Influenced by a multitude of classic guitarists such as Carlos Santana; Joe Satriani and Jeff Beck, Tim, creator of the ‘guitar mashing’ genre has been making a constant presence in the world of guitar from 2001 onwards. After quitting the covers band Tim played in, he treated himself to a bass and some drums before building himself a studio and setting about making his plans for world domination.
Now a solo artist in his own right, Tim has been combining guitars with dance music since he was head-hunted by DJ Judge Jules to collaborate with and eventually perform at the Radio 1 weekend in Ibiza.
Now, 8 years on, his dizzying blend of guitar-dance otherwise known as ‘guitar mashing’ has seen him go from strength to strength.
