The quality of the musicianship was top and all was carried by Nat who is an excellent front man and band leader. They are also a really nice bunch of easy going people with an excellent balance between professionalism and engaging in the party spirit. Try and imagine NOT what your favourite songs are - but what songs you love to dance to - it's much easier to say what song you love than to understand whether or not people will dance to it. Many people pick their requests based on their favourites, but quite often they clear the dance floor. Our advice would be pick a few of your favourites, but let your DJ or band do their job> If they are doing it correctly, they will judge the crowd and pick songs that are appropriate for the night. What Equipment and Lighting do they bring? - All Wedding bands Cheshire we provide will have their own PA (speakers) and equipment for the booking they are undertaking, this goes the same for the Cheshire Wedding DJs. In terms of lighting, all bands will have lighting to light t hemselves, but not necessarily for the whole room. DJs will have lighting for themselves and the dance floor. If you wish to hire further lighting (uplighter etc) that is absolutely no problem - Luminate Events can help with this - www.luminate-events.co.uk Noise Restrictions at my Venue - What do I do? - Some Cheshire Wedding Venues, as do other venues in other areas have noise restrictions placed upon them by the local council. This can be in the form of a simple restriction to not have amplified music outside, to a noise compression system, or to a noise limiter (which measures the volume in the room and cuts the power off if the noise exceeds that volume). Our professional Cheshire Wedding Bands are fully aware of how these systems all work, and we are here to advise you on the best course of action. Some of Bandtube's Wedding bands are specifically set up to be able to work under these conditions and we have a great range of them. If your venue tell you that they have one of these in place, let us know when you enquire and we can help you book the best band or act for that venue. Can the band play our first dance? - It greatly depends on the band and the song really. All band members are world class musicians brought together by a love for Soul, Disco, Funk and Motown. Although the band are relatively young (28 average age), they all have at least 10 years experience playing the highest profile events, weddings and shows (listed below). The band line-up consists of 2 Lead Vocalists, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Saxophone, Trumpet, Keyboards and Percussion. This line-up can be expanded or made smaller to fit your perfect event (although we don’t usually go lower than 6-piece). We always travel with our own sound engineer and lighting show to add that extra flare to your event. Often de-scribed as a good-times party band this group of professional musicians is led by a great looking, charismatic and highly energetic front-man, and are the perfect live band to set off your party. They can be your cool wedding band, funky party band or professional function band suitable for any live event and have become a regular favourite across Yorkshire, Lancashire, Notting-hamshire, Lincolnshire, London (playing at the top of the Gherkin!) and Cheshire.
